I love this design. It's mostly a bit rough in the South West although my fit and fit 24 lb Cocker Spaniel had a back injury and I've used him to keep him warm around the house when he's not feeling well. It's basically the right length, but it's actually a little too big for him, even with his deep-chested cocker. The Velcro allows most of the material to hang at the end of the center strap for a reasonably snug fit. I'm still trying to figure out how to go about fixing him in the front as he seems too prone to wanting his head to droop and push forward. Maybe it's just my inexperience with assembly. However, it's well built and a close mockup if I have time to put together a slightly modified version myself. In winter it is convenient when I cut the dog; then it's always cold. I'll probably add some more velcro towards the end of the middle strap to make it fit better.
