I fell in love with this knee pad. Due to arthritis and tendonitis in my knees (and despite having a total knee replacement), I had to use knee pads for years. My knees hurt on the sides and under the patella when I walk over half a mile. I've tried all sorts of sleeves and they all have some flaw. Some didn't fit my thigh or calf; some slipped down; they were all hot; One brand gave me cleft shins while wearing them and most I couldn't get them off without removing my shoes and undressing (a factor when hiking in a national park!). I've been looking for a patella strap for a long time but couldn't believe it would provide enough support. I was wrong. I ordered one for each foot and wore them twice while walking on the treadmill for 45 minutes at almost 3mph. Not only are they easy to put on and take off, but they also stay in place. And most importantly, I had practically no pain when I walked more than two kilometers. I think the reason a person needs a knee brace may determine whether this product will provide pain relief, but it certainly works for me.
