This is the most expensive shoulder bag I've ever owned so I'm almost afraid to carry it. I used to have canvas and polyurethane but now I know what real leather is, it's thick and sturdy. And it scratches so easily! (That's what I had in mind when I was afraid to use it outside). Because it's real leather, it's much heavier than other messenger bags I've had, weighing over four pounds. I have a coffee color, a nice dark brown. There are many, many compartments and pockets to fit whatever you can put in, and that's a lot. I can store my laptop and iPad there, leaving room for study books, laptops, office supplies, and personal items. It fits perfectly in the trunk of my Honda Lead Scooter. However, and this is what I have always preached, high-quality bags NEED high-quality zippers. This is the one thing that generic and counterfeit manufacturers always ignore and hence counterfeit products are the easiest to spot. If you are a quality company you do NOT skimp on zippers so it's a shame that a genuine leather company uses such crude zippers. For this reason I have to deduct a star. This is a great lesson for businesses as zippers are what we touch when trying on/inspecting bags and are often our first and lasting impression of a product's quality.
