I use a toner morning and night and then another pad when I apply my eye makeup. I had quite a few cotton pads and knew there had to be a better way to reduce waste. I got them and am very happy so far. Not sure how long they will last but if I spend $$ on cotton pads even if they only last 2 months I will be happy. I love the bag and I just tape it to my laundry basket, put my used pad in it when I'm done and throw it away with my laundry. I line dry, not tumble dry. I didn't have a smudge and when I use it with eye makeup I immediately wash my hands with hand soap to remove the smudges and they still come out fine.
