The leather case gives this small radio a luxurious touch

Excellent FM and HF reception; good reception in AM; Good sound for a radio of this size. The controls are easy to use. The display is an attractive orange LCD that is easy on the eye. The leather case gives this radio a really nice luxurious touch but I only wish they had designed the case so you can see the radio's display inside the case. Then you can leave the leather case on all the time, except when changing the batteries. (Cutouts are already provided for most controls.) Sound from the built-in speaker is surprisingly rich for such a small, thin radio. With headphones connected, the sound is really impressive. Compared to most pocket radios, this one is significantly thinner and therefore ideal for use in a shirt pocket and for use with headphones. I really like the feature that allows you to keep the clock on all the time (even if the radio is off). You can choose between light hours, dark hours and off hours by pressing the display button while the radio is off. This is a handy feature for travelers and those who want to use the radio as a night watch, for example. Of course, you should only use this feature when necessary, as it will drain your batteries faster if the display is on all the time. Speaking of hours, it's easy and intuitive to set them using the hour and minute buttons. In fact, you don't even need to read the instructions to use any of this radio's features. The Eton Mini is a very nicely designed little radio that seems to be a few notches higher in quality than most pocket radios, but doesn't cost much more.
