My toy breed would almost always get up at some point in the night to drink water and then wake me up so I could pick it up. Return. Sometimes it happened more than once a night. I was hesitant to buy a ladder because I didn't want a large, bulky structure tripping at the foot of my bed or anything else, and they always seem to be a lot more expensive than they should be (and @$60 bucks, this one is not really an exception). I finally said enough is enough and stumbled across this model - I love that it's light and fluffy, easy to move around etc so I pulled the trigger and wished I had made it 3 years ago. The stairs are a bit soft so he was a bit confused at first but after a few tries he got the idea and now even uses them to get up from the bed instead of jumping down.
