I love it when Clarks wore them for 50+ years. I trust her size. I used to be 13 million but after turning 60 my height increased. In fact, for many years it was 13.5 million, but that size is almost impossible to find. However. I bought these 140 million Northam step loafers for less than $20-$36 and later had them in a brand new box with tissue paper on the pristine, pristine loafers at my door. I put them on and they fit just like the full priced styles I've worn over the years. desert boots, wallabies. I have never bought this type or model and I am satisfied beyond all expectations. perfect fit, very light but I feel secure in them, not stiff but not like running shoes either. Since the fit of shoes is very subjective for many people, it is almost impossible to get a correct rating that fits everyone. I can say these shoes are exactly what I want in a new pair of shoes at my local store. nothing is out of order but the discount is very unusual. I drove them 2 miles from city to suburb on day one, getting on and off the bus, after a few hours of light rain on the sidewalks. Foliage season is here so as I crossed the front lawn from the sidewalk to the front door I had to walk about 80 yards through short wet grass with wet leaf debris that had fallen in a day and a half since the yard was last cleaned. My moccasins are dry on the inside, nothing sticks to them and the oiled black leather looks good. I hope this helps someone like me who is hesitant about different sizes.
