I bought this Briofox curtain rod holder to use with the Briofox tensioned curtain rod. Since this bar is over the bath tub my young children use I wanted extra protection from it falling on their heads but I may have actually increased the risk. longer or shorter. It may appear that the tension is turning the bar in the direction that it is loosening the tension (shortening the bar), which at the moment will cause the holder to turn with it, but eventually it can just loosen and fall off. After the 4th time review, I fixed the issue by removing the rod and replacing the bracket in the correct location. Both the holder and rod are designed by the same company so while I can't tell if it's the holder or the rod's fault I would say this product doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
