Just buy original tips. didn't work for me
bought it as a spare but couldn't get it to work stably. I mixed up different iPads and couldn't connect. thought my screen protector had an impact (but the original tips worked fine). I was able to get it working by removing the protective film and putting the tip on the screen. Then it also worked with the screen protector. then it won't work on the next try. I bought original Apple Tips and they worked great even with the screen protector I originally had. I tried to save a few bucks by buying them but it just wasn't worth it in the end.
