Unreliable controls.

Ie using this with my Pentax K3 I have to select remote control mode on my camera and it flashes ready to receive. I did, but not all the time. My guess is that the battery in the remote always runs out, and when you need it, it's dead. But I'm not sure about that. After it didn't work after a hike up the mountain I was overwhelmed and didn't try to fix the faults with a new battery.
