We put it in my room and filled the drawers. When I opened the top drawer I smelled a strong chemical smell. I thought we could just leave the drawers closed and open the window a little. The advice a healthcare professional gave me is to get the furniture out of the house and air it out fully. Open the windows in your home to eliminate chemical outgassing. I think companies should list the chemicals they use.
