The easy preload plug on the bottom of the seatpost is easily adjusted for different rider weights and can be adjusted to give lighter riders a forgiving ride. At 200 pounds, this seatpost made some of the potholes and cracks on my trail more bearable. This helps a lot with unexpected hits that usually tend to push the saddle against the back end. Highly recommended! I transferred this seatpost to my wife's bike and she loved the extra cushion but ended up going back to her original seatpost because the suspension support didn't fit as deep into the frame. So before you buy, make sure you have a few inches of seatpost above the collar for extra suspension.
