It's OK Makeup Brushes and Tools

Mia is a successful actress who comes to rest and relax at "Victorian Rose" in Boston before the start of her next movie. Sean worked hard to help his mother succeed in B&B. His father abruptly divorced his mother 18 years ago and never contacted his two children again. Sean turned down his scholarship to stay home and help his family. I admired his character and his devotion to his family. However, I found it straight forward and quite cold. I couldn't understand why Mia entered into a relationship with him. I didn't feel any chemistry between the two. Yes, they had sex, but it felt a little "wrong" to me. I didn't care about Sean's mother either. It seemed to me that she had used him over the years when she needed his support and then just suddenly cut him into her crotch when she didn't need him. I didn't like the ending either. I wanted to know if Sean had accepted the job at MIT. I may have missed it because in the end I was guilty of skimming my eyes to finish it. This is the first book in a series and I'm not sure I'll continue with it. But for those wondering, this isn't a cliffhanger. Sexual situations may offend some readers.
