I have experimented with several battery monitor products on my Piaggo and Vespa scooters. This method seems to be the easiest and most efficient. I don't have a CTEK charger, but I use it to plug into my SAE socket under the seat to see if I'm drawing too much voltage from the accessory. My observations comparing the Battery Bug and this indicator showed the same results. If you support the "green" LED, the voltage drawn from your battery does not exceed the voltage provided by your bike's charging system. If you see "Yellow" then you need to disable something. While you can connect the charger by removing the plug, I actually taped the cap on and cut off the plastic loop. My intention was to use it as a monitor device. I give him 5 stars.
