Charming Christmas towel set. In fact, this is the second set I've ordered. I liked the first one so much that I wanted the same for another bathroom. I ordered the 16" X 27" version and am very happy with the size of these colorful towels. Green, red and white are perfect - traditional bright Christmas colors. The appliqués are highly detailed with clean lines and vibrant colors. The towels were instantly super soft and plush and I washed them straight away. I used cold water and a gentle cycle followed by a low tumble dryer - I was a little concerned the white towel would turn pink or have light green stains, but the towels came out really well. They still look like new. The adorable appliques of Santa, Snowman and Christmas tree have not shrunk or wrinkled at all and are so festive. High quality 100% cotton fabric, very well stitched towels. One side made of plush velor and the other side made of very short, densely stuffed terry loops. The towels are of moderate weight and thickness and look luxurious. The edges on the sides are turned over and hemmed very neatly with a straight even stitch to prevent fraying. The ends are finished with a thin grosgrain ribbon that is firmly sewn. The red and white towels do not have extended terry loops or loops, but instead have a small extended loop that starts near one end of the green towel. I tied it off and trimmed the ends and it doesn't seem very noticeable. There are no protruding threads or skipped stitches on the towels. I think towels are too pretty to use in the kitchen where I will ruin them, especially white ones, so I keep them in the bathroom to use as hand towels. The current price of $21.99 is a little steep, but the overall quality of both the fabric and construction is very good + the fun design is sure to make everyone smile.
