Review on Potty Training Toilet Seat for Kids: Adjustable, Safe and Non-Slip with Step Stool Ladder, Soft Padded Seat and Handles - Blue/Green by Keri Diaz

Unstable mounting screws

I purchased this product after teaching my son how to use a miniature version of the toilet, so bear that in mind when reading my review. One of the reasons I used a miniature toilet was that my son seemed very reluctant to use an adult toilet so I had to find something on his level before I bought it. it's for him to try. Being visually impaired the colors (green, blue and white) are vibrant and I guess it's easy for him to find his way around. The stairs are green and the handles are blue/white which is great for contrast. I cannot put into words how amazing this is for my family; Finding products that are easy to see and use can be a real challenge, but this company did a great job. This product was easy to assemble and easy to fold. My son uses it every day alone and he is 3.5 years old. Note: If you found this review helpful, please indicate it by clicking the helpful button. UPDATE #1: If like me you don't leave this product in the toilet 24/7, you will need to tighten the white "bolts" on the side from time to time. Apparently the bolts loosen with frequent closing and opening. This has only happened once since I bought this product, but I don't think it will be the last. UPDATE #2 (March 2021): The screws became an issue after a few months of use. Quite often I tightened the screws to keep the ladder intact. The screws even came out a couple of times which is not a problem I want to have when my kid is using it. Ultimately, screws were the end of this product and are no longer used in our household. I got rid of it I can no longer recommend this product because these bolts are simply not stable.
