I've never had luck with umbrellas. I often lose or forget them somewhere, but most of the time they get destroyed by the wind, flipping and flapping until the hinges ultimately break and I am forced to throw this now spidery assembly of nylon and metal is into a nearby bin. And the best part about it is that it closes the opposite way of literally every other umbrella out there. I can stick it out the door and open it BEFORE I even step foot outside! I also don't have to worry about it soaking my clothes when it's closed. It is a bit longer than I was expecting and does not fold up into a purse-sized little contraption; however, it performs its primary function and for me, that's all that matters. It comes with a cool little carrying pouch with a strap, in case you don't want to carry it by the handle. Oh, and the handle allows for multi-tasking! I can just slide it onto my wrist and bam! Texting in the rain while staying dry AND sipping on a latte. Can your $13 CVS umbrella do that? I didn't think so.TL;DR - Buy this umbrella. It'll change your life.
