These are really high quality strong magnets. It's hard for my son to understand that you can only wear one of these at a time, otherwise they're repulsive. My 5 year old son loves it and makes all sorts of vehicles, "crystals". It was a good way to emphasize three-dimensional shapes. We also have Picasso tiles and I can say these magnets are stronger and smaller, but we really like both sets.
