Great and helpful!

As others have pointed out, this hole is a bit smaller than a true 2.5" hole, but a few layers of tape around the edge soon took care of that and it now fits snugly the holes in my desk. .No problems, everything works as expected and my USB 3 drive runs at true USB 3 speeds. Having an SD card reader comes in very handy as I am a photographer and can just take the cards out of the camera. and it's a lot easier to put them right on my desk than it is to rummage under the desk to get to my desk tower.
