Cap fits unevenly with uneven pressure. The 4" length of the lid makes it easy to insert the paper, and when filled with 1" of water and turned upside down, it doesn't drip, but flows out in a small trickle. The mechanism is such that it is also difficult to align when closed to try to align as evenly as possible. The canister is nice and well made, but the lid seal, design and closure are of poor quality.
