I need a sleeve for my MacBook Air and it does the job perfectly! ends. Both parts could be snapped on and off with little effort. It also sees through so you can see the Apple logo in full (I have a space gray Macbook Air) even with the black on. The black is not as dark as in the picture, more of a dark grey. I'm still happy with the color. The bottom part (keyboard) is attached in four places, that is the left and right speakers and two places below the trackpad. It won't snag on any of the corners if you're worried about it. Even if it doesn't feel like freedom at all. It's a pretty tight fit. It can still provide some protection, but I'm not sure I would fall to the ground. There are also "vent" cutouts on the bottom so it's not completely enclosed. On the other hand, the top cover also hooks in four places. There are two clips/notches at the top of the screen which, by the way, do NOT touch the actual screen. They sit directly above the aluminum body. It doesn't hang on the top corners or on the screen (as far as I've tried, but I don't want to force it). The other two places that get hooked/hooked are the bottom corners of the screen. Most importantly, it returns over 90 degrees. Not sure what happened to that one review, but mine goes back to the history of the MacBook. I think that was the most important thing for me (and probably millions of other people) when looking for a case. Pleasantly surprised, the name isn't stamped or etched anywhere on the cover. This is another big plus! I'm very happy with it!
