The size is perfect. About half a sheet of paper at a time. I have taken them for "test drives" at locations for my next tattoo and have been very impressed with the quality. It only lasts a day or two, but that's because I apply lotion every day to shave and exfoliate in the shower every other day. If you had left him alone or if he had been a different part of my body than my legs, I'm sure they would have held out longer. Absolutely beautiful and I had 3 people asking me when I was going to get another tattoo!
