Well, this lightbulb is smart because it turns on and off when it's light/dark. Great price that solved my problem. I was tired of coming home to a dark house and was looking for an Alexa or a smart programmable light bulb. After a long search I found this. And it's not a smart lightbulb, as it doesn't integrate with a Wi-Fi hub or Alexa. I can't control my voice but I have one over my kitchen sink and one in my outdoor patio lights and now I never have to remember to turn the lights on or off. These lights stay on at night and turn off when the sun comes up. My problem was solved with a much cheaper solution than any other way I thought could solve this problem. I knew I would love it on the porch, but I didn't realize how cool it would be for my kitchen sink, which is why it lights up early in the morning when I get up and have coffee or walk around the kitchen at night. but it turns off. if it's bright enough (and I don't use this light during the day). Highly recommended for patio lighting!
