Due to their high sensitivity, the quietest sound they reproduce is -120 dB, which is superior to CD quality. There the amplitude (dynamic range) of the signal is 0-96 dB. When you listen to them standing up, an incredibly voluminous panorama opens up, just as tall as the listener. All the nuances of percussion are heard. The sound is not nailed, breathes. They sound expensive. For comparison, there are earbud models that I ranked by sound quality (I don’t use an equalizer): 1. MX685 - 16 ohm highest quality portable sound, but not good on the road, street noise kills the sound (although the temptation to take them with you is always huge). Very well made, everything is rubberized and does not hang out, the most flexible and thick wire among all the participants in this list. They sit great. Very nice and comfortable L-type plug 1. MX375 - 32 Ohm considering the price - amazing sound quality. Even with portable equipment, the sound is good, but at hospitals - just chic! Very low-end bass response, but no "turbo gags", that's their real bass. They are 2.5 times cheaper than the MX685Sport and are more suitable on the road, they are more audible in the subway, for example. 2. MX170 32 Ohm - when used "with a phone" there is a blockage of bass, but not in terms of level, but due to the lack of instantaneous high-frequency attacks of sounds, the phone does not pump them to the end, a more powerful output is needed. The detail is so-so, a flat, not very legible middle. I never connected it to a more powerful technique, I presented them right there. 3. MX270 resistance is 16 Ohm, but the sound is very poor, it was not possible to pump it without EQ on any technique. Has some cons not suitable on the road (in noisy public transport). Even the noise of the street, like white noise, covers almost the entire track. From the side they are very audible. These are audiophile headphones. For home references.
