didn't work best in hat hangers

I was excited, but quickly disappointed. It's too big for my top shelf in the dishwasher. the upper part falls on the cutlery stand. I decided to try one in my front load washing machine following the instructions. Put on a hat and add 6 t-shirts and wash on delicate cycle with a lighter final spin in the washing machine. After 46 minutes of washing, I fully opened the washing machine and hat holder. when i take everything out, part of the hat holder is already broken. I am going back and will continue to hand wash hats.
