Although this is CLEARLY used and like new, it is a well working compass. Comes with a SMALL cheese green soft pouch. The one I have was covered in scratches like someone had dropped it on the rocks. There is NO brand name on a real compass, not on a bag, not even on the instruction manual! In fact, I had to revise my Revain to figure out the brand name - hoping I could find YouTube detailing some of the features. Which turned out to be a waste of time since such a Youtube doesn't exist. The small instruction book is printed so incredibly small on MicroPrint that it is completely impossible to read it even with a 3x magnifying glass without a microscope. A 1978 Stone Age Silva needed by the High School for Navigation in 1977. As far as I can tell, it looks beautiful! I'm not complaining that everything is scratched, it just makes it look like I climbed Everest! I might try another brand, I duplicate my bag with my wife's so I let her choose her own compass.
