Quilted cotton makes sleep very comfortable and warm. The controls are simple, be it preheating, choosing the heat level and getting the heat distributed to the right places. It's so nice to climb into a preheated bed and pillows. It seems well made, with deep pockets to fit comfortably on a deep mattress. Update December 2020: After a year of use, one side of the mattress topper was not heating up --- called the warranty number and was very surprised to speak to an experienced, knowledgeable and very polite professional (thanks Erlinda!) who asked relevant questions, took notes all the information and then said the replacement would arrive in 7-10 business days. It arrived early, works great and we are ready for the cold winter nights!
