I bought two of these and am generally satisfied. One was behind the TV in my living room and the other was behind the headboard of my bed. They are very easy to apply, just make sure you plan the length correctly before sticking them on, or you'll have to take them off and the glue won't be as strong. I had to connect the USB to the back of the TV, my problem is that it only works when the TV is on. As soon as you turn off the TV, the light stops working. Not the end of the world as I can just get a USB extender and plug it straight into an outlet so I don't have to worry. Remote control via smartphone is via a Bluetooth connection. Although it appears large, the distance is very small. You must be within 4 feet of the light source to change settings or play with colors on the phone. I would give 5/5 stars if the distance was better. Other than that, this is a great product.
