There's really nothing wrong with that. I read all the other reviews and for the money, NOTHING BAD. For the way it's marketed, it's very durable. You can't expect to fill it with rocks, heavy books, or bulky/heavy equipment/gardening tools and it will work just fine, but it's strong enough for most things you want to organize around the home. Yes, it may have a cardboard base that LOOKS a bit flimsy, but it's very durable and covered in a cloth-like coating to match the inside. Bottomless, yes it's thin on the sides, but once the bottom is in you can't get either side to touch the other. At first I thought the cap was junk and bulky because the corners seem flimsy, but if you hold it by the wide side it's easy to put it on properly with one hand. If you do this with the short side, it will collapse on the long side. They look great and seem to handle and hold up well. The only downside I can say about it is that it's not made in America.
