I needed a teether for my nephew that he doesn't drop on the trip as we can't sterilize it often. That fits the bill because it's like a raccoon grabbing a ball in a box. When he lets go, the outer glove holds him around the wrists and allows the fingers to move freely without falling off. there's also a lightweight stick for grabbing, pulling, and chewing. Little bear's arms and ears are securely attached, and you don't have to worry about chewing them off. I'll probably give it to the dog when he's done with it as it's pretty much indestructible. If you look at the picture you can see how the hole makes it easy to slip your hand in and out and grab it from different angles. Overall width is about 4.5 inches from paw to paw and about 2 inches opening at the bottom and 1.5 inches front/back. The paws are about 5/8 inch wide. Hope this helps someone.
