They withstand heavy use!
My 10 year old is burning through shoes at an alarming rate. He wears them 98% of the time and even though they have a mesh front, they last longer than other shoes. Although after about a month it tore the label on the tongue. My husband was impressed with the durability of these shoes - my child almost outgrew them before they were destroyed. Worth the extra cost!
