Based on how it's described as being easy to use and an immersive visual experience, I expected it to meet my work needs at home. I needed something that would help reduce eye strain, be sharp and clear etc. As good as the colors were, the fonts in spreadsheets and emails were awful! My 8 year old Dell monitor was significantly better (it's just not IPS so I still have to replace it to reduce eye strain). I'm sending it back and opting for something with a DVI connector. Anything that only has HDMI and VGA generally doesn't deliver sharp details. However, I assume this monitor would be a good gaming monitor. Just not what I needed.
