I mainly use it for cloning NVMe SSD. I'm running Acronis in a virtual machine on my clone server and it's very convenient to be able to plug and unplug NVMe SSDs without rebooting. I've tested various scenarios with this adapter and the results are as expected: an obvious drop in performance. that comes with running NVMe over USB. But considering it's USB 3.0, it still gives me very good performance for cloning and even running Windows. The blue LED is helpful. Solid when online and flashing when active. I can easily see when the cloning is complete (the light stops blinking)
