Initially I had trouble finding the right settings for my problem because I didn't know which leg to bandage as I don't have a groin injury (sac-iliac problem). After a day or two of trying, this belt saved a life. I found that the bandage on my left leg allowed me to adequately support my joints. Now I can sit/stand/maneuver without moving my joints. This greatly reduced my discomfort from excruciating pain to mild aching discomfort. I apply ice to my lower back several times a day to reduce inflammation, which in turn helps relieve the nagging discomfort from long periods of sitting. I say that without this belt I would still be on the bottom and not on top. . By the way, I tried sleeping in it to see if it would help reduce the discomfort while sleeping, but I still had the same level of discomfort as without it. Actually I was tougher.
