Good speedometer and easy installation
Bought for a friend who wanted a more accurate speedometer for his boat. Most boats have an old "paddle wheel" style speedometer that is incredibly inaccurate. This GPS Speedometer plugged right into an existing hole in the dashboard, a simple 3 wire connection took only a few minutes and we were done. The GPS function is MUCH more accurate than the old speedometer. Highly recommended for every sailor. In fact, I'm ordering another one for MY boat.
- It takes about 30 seconds to get the signal the first time, then less than 3 seconds. When the sky is clear it will be faster. Sometimes when there is no signal please. Connect all cables and reboot.
