The first feature they require for evaluation is "easy to clean". Let's be honest, there aren't many kettles that I would call "easy to clean" because by their very nature a) they get dirty and b) they have little corners and edges. Understanding that, I can clean it well enough to be usable and presentable. It's cute and makes two regular cups, although I have to admit I have a large cup that can hold the entire amount of tea it produces. It's excellent because it's the right amount of tea to drink in one sitting before it gets cold. The basket has a nice notched handle that allows you to pull it up without supporting the rest of the basket while it's still hot from soaking. The color is vibrant (I have the orange model) and maybe even a little lighter than the picture here, which is great. My only complaint is the mechanism that holds the lid in place. There is a small screw that goes through the metal flange/eyelet that goes over the handle (which is under the lever that lifts the lid). This screw is short and has a piece of silicone in between that acts as a washer. After some time of use, there is a chance that the screw will loosen, which is exacerbated by its brevity. Assembling it was a bit of a hassle because everything has to go in the right order and the screw head is small. This is *not* a deal breaker - overall it's a great kettle and knowing this flaw in advance will allow you to check from time to time and make sure the screw is tight. I check weekly and use the pot daily.
