Review on Snuggie Tails SHARK Comfy Blanket by Christine Rowe

I bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas and it was one of his favorite gifts. He entered her immediately and stayed inside her until the end of the day I think. It's very soft and the shark design is adorable. However, after an hour or two of use, the satin fabric on the tail began to separate from the ceiling. When I tried to sew it back on by manipulating the fabric, the entire length of the seam came undone and the fabric was so frayed that I couldn't fix it. It doesn't matter as it doesn't affect the functionality of the duvet, but it doesn't give me confidence that it will last long enough to be worth the money. I can already see other places where the stitching has come undone, so I have a feeling I'll always be checking for holes here with my sewing kit. It's a fun concept and I'm so glad my son loves it, but next time I'll buy a different brand.
