Really wanted to love this. I searched and read reviews for a long time before I bought it. But it's pretty dense and tight. I got this mattress topper because our new Sealy mattress, which was supposed to be perfect for side sleepers, wasn't. Too heavy. I woke up every morning with sleeping hands and a headache. After using this topper for a month I can say that the headaches have subsided and my hands haven't fallen asleep at all. I also feel like I sleep better on the mattress with it. But I still think it's too hard, at least for a heavy side sleeper like me. The flat egg box almost disappears after you add the protective film and sheet. This is not a selling point. i don't feel it It doesn't overheat and stays cooler longer in winter. It hugs your body a bit and hasn't lost its shape at all after just over a month. I liked the packaging and the easy instructions. So those are the positives. Overall I think it's good for back sleepers, but I wouldn't buy it if I knew how heavy it would be. Update: Well, after almost a year, I'm happy to report that it hasn't lost a bit of shape, but at the same time has become a lot softer. I wouldn't recommend it for side sleepers, but I've learned to sleep on my back more often, which I like.
