Too expensive for this quality

Lost sound in the left earphone after less than 3 months of use. In my opinion they are too expensive to break in such a short time. I'm used to cheaper headphones, but you're more philosophical if you're only paying $8 or $9 for a pair. Love the looks and the sound quality was good when they worked. I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives that will outlast them and have the same sound quality.
