My daughter loved the feel and helped her stay warm while skating. She loves these socks, otherwise I would send them back. I would not recommend it for children over 1.5 height. My daughter wears a child size 2 and it fits her but it seems a bit small to me. If your child is 1.5 or smaller I think it will fit very well, but after that it will be a bit small.
