Okay, I'll try to be as descriptive as possible. This cover was large enough to fit my Can-Am Outlander 850 North Edition (which is why I have a windshield and a large rear seat with wide handles). I put it on the first day and was impressed by its size. Didn't use the strap as I was really just trying to see how well it fit, after not taking it off the next day the wind blew it for me. He was lying on the ground in a muddy puddle. So I put it back on and this time I'm using the band that came with it. The strap does not stretch enough to be worn with a firm grip. I have a feeling it helps a little. but not enough. I'll look for a new volume that can get even smaller. However, I wish there was some sort of belt loop on the case itself through which a strap could be threaded. I feel that in strong winds the cover can slide right up and under the belt and the cover disappears leaving only the belt around my ride. I attached the bungee to the lid but attached them to the posts front and back to minimize the risk of losing the lid in its entirety. The quality of the cover is excellent for $26. I'm impressed with how big the cover is and it almost fits the floor of my ride (it covers almost all tires). The cover itself feels like there's still room inside for a back box. If you have a big trip and don't want to spend more than $200 on a custom case, this is a great alternative. I'm only giving 4 stars because there are no belt loops and the belt doesn't fully tighten. (Buying a smaller strap to attach still makes the $26 cover a win!)
