In the photo in the product card, the body color was completely white, but it came in the traditional lilac color for the 419S model. This model has a presser foot pressure regulator on the fabric, thanks to which it is possible to sew stretchable fabrics, knitted fabrics - they do not stretch under the foot if its pressure is released. Therefore, the need for walking knitted feet is eliminated. Before buying an overlock, I sewed a lot of jerseys with an overlock stretch sch. This is much longer than on the overlock, but it is quite real. Things look decent from the inside out and are worn for many years. Only for this sch you need to buy a foot to perform a pseudo-overlock sch, so the edge of the product will be much neater. The first such machine has been sewing for me for three years in the city without any complaints, this is the second one bought for a summer residence. Before her, in the country, she sewed on another model without adjusting the presser foot pressure using walking feet. I didn’t like dancing with tambourines, the needles from the walking foot often broke, so I took 419S again for giving, and I am very pleased with it. Not ready to change it to any other more modern models, although there is a possibility. Having it, and ideally also an overlock, you can sew anything: from to a coat. But, I repeat, even without an overlock, you can also sew everything, there would be a desire. When testing the machine right out of the package, it was only noticed that the thread in the bobbin case was very tight. So with a mini screwdriver slightly loosened the screw on the cap half a turn, and the thread now comes with the desired tension.
