Doesn't fit MacBook Air 13 :-(

This item says it's for a 13" MacBook Air and that's exactly what I have. It literally won't close and I can't understand why it is advertised as such and you cannot zip the laptop in. The new MacBook Air 13 may be larger than the latest model, but this needs to be stated lest we waste time and money returning it.
