Review on Neiko 20656A Flaring Aluminum Blow Molded by Eric Fish

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good set just one complaint

Good set for making proper bubbles. Don't risk it with a dual torch tool. The tip is screwed into the pressure part of the tool so that it is pressed down evenly. The tip itself shows no signs of wear after about 20 flashes, so it's decent quality metal. I redid all the brake lines on my car and not a single flare has leaked. Follow the instructions. Always cut the end of the brake line. By chamfering I mean smoothing the edges so the tool slides over the edges instead of cutting into them as it bends the metal down. You don't need a perfect 45 degree angle, smoothness is enough. Use some oil on the tip before flashing.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not sure
