My wife and I bought a large bedding set to replace our aging 2 year old set from another brand. Upon unpacking, we were immediately struck by how *surprisingly* soft the sheets are. We washed the sheets before putting them on the bed and found the stretched sheets began to tear upon installation with MINIMAL effort. My wife then noticed that when she opened the 3rd corner during installation, it also broke during washing. It was the very first wash! (By the way, the fitted sheet and pillowcases were washed separately from the sheet). While I was very pleased with the softness of the sheets, I was amazed and disappointed that they didn't even survive the first wash or styling! We'll get rid of them before we get to 4 washes.
