I bought these glasses on purpose because another reviewer claimed they were just as effective as Uvex glasses, only more orange. Unfortunately, this is simply not true. Using a blue laser firefly as a test, I took pictures with each lens placed over my phone's camera lens. The Uvex only transmits a faint yellow light, while the SleepZM Clip-Ons transmit a noticeable amount of blue. The photos I've included here show a laser pointing at a white ceiling. These clip-ons reduce the blue color significantly, but whether that's enough to prevent insomnia is another question entirely. And that's a shame because the clip-ons appear to be made of quality materials and are much more comfortable for those who wear glasses.
