I am a surveyor and often fly to work. Being away for at least three weeks we defiantly make the most of what we take with us in the field and have to lug a lot of work tools. This buckle is very strong and I have never broken it. I love how it's adjustable so you can adapt it to your luggage size or whatever you need to connect. This, combined with the infamous hook you see on crew luggage, was a real game changer for me. Once my bag is checked in, I carry it in my carry-on or backpack, which helps keep my hands free. I recommend this and the luggage bungee if you need your hands free.
