A friend has an official $100 case for the RM2. I bought this for $45 and I'm glad I did. Pros: + Looks very similar to the more expensive OEM case. , so that it doesn't wobble when I put the RM2 down or pick it up. Cons: - Lacks any mechanism that the OEM case uses to tell the RM2 if the lid is open or closed. Expect to have to press a button to wake up. That doesn't really bother me. I would really like the case to protrude a few millimeters to the right over the edge of the device. As it is, the nib protrudes from the case, making it easy for the nib to slip out of place when in my hand or in my pocket. If the lid had moved a little further, the grip would have been secure. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase. This case takes up a lot less room in my bag than the case I used and I charge a lower price for the missing features.
