Review on πŸ” Moroso 89560 Tire Gauge: Accurate Pressure Measurement, 0-60LB, 2-5/8IN. by Dave Rasic

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good sensor but I wish some aspects of it were better.

I love this gauge, the nice easy to read dial and I really like the exhaust valve feature. Accuracy seems good, however the needle is sub-zero when not in use so I can't say for sure how accurate it is (see below). Other reviews have mentioned the end not being tight on the air valve and if you don't apply the right amount of pressure. leaks. I noticed it too. I would also like the main base (the round part with the dial) where the numbers are located to be made of more durable and higher quality materials. It feels so cheap compared to the rest of the gauge (the hose and valve parts are really high quality and durable). I haven't read all the reviews, but none of the ones I've read mention that the needle is in place. like two marks below zero if you hold the sensor vertically or lay it horizontally on the ground. So I don't know if the reading I'm getting is that much different or what. You would expect a high quality and expensive sensor like this not to have the inconveniences of this or the one previously mentioned. There are no instructions anywhere on how to adjust the needle so that it is exactly at zero, or whether this is even possible. I tried calling Moroso but they waited for me for about 30 minutes before I hung up. I have emailed them but no reply yet. So if anyone has an idea how to adjust the needle let me know. Many Thanks.
