We got this for our 18 month old for Easter. The animals on it look more like an anime than a regular cartoon animal. But the main problem is that the volume control is either very bad or ours is broken. It's either on and VERY loud, or it's off. Medium volume settings do not work. And it is very easy to turn on and off. So our daughter accidentally turned it off and I accidentally turned it back on by removing it. But my daughter loves it!
